Aniruth Hiranraks

Executive Vice President – Telecommunications and Satellite Group,
National Telecom PLC

Aniruth holds a Master of Engineering degree from Cornell University.

He was a pioneer in establishing Thailand’s Internet Gateway and Internet Exchange during his tenure at the Data Communications Department at CAT. He later moved to International Network Department, where he was in charge of submarine cable and satellite prior to the merger of CAT and TOT to form National Telecom (NT).

He has also served as Head of Internal IT, Executive Vice President of Information Technology Group, and as Data Protection Officer (DPO) of NT.

In his current role, he is responsible for product strategy roadmap and operations of Broadband, Datacom, Telephone, and Satellite services both domestically and internationally.

With over 30 years of experience in telecommunications and IT, Aniruth has not only helped strengthen NT’s telecom network and IT infrastructure, but has also developed products and services to meet customer demands and expectations.

Kapil Kumar Jain

Vice President, Global Network Services,
Tata Communications

Kapil Kumar Jain is currently working as Vice President of the Core & Next Generation Connectivity Services portfolio of Tata Communications, based in Singapore. In his current role, he is responsible for the Strategy, Product Development & Transformation for Private Line, Internet, and Managed Wi-Fi & LAN Product Portfolios, along with the expansion and development of underlying Global Subsea & Terrestrial Networks. 

Pho Duc Kien

Deputy CEO and COO,
CMC Telecom

Pho Duc Kien graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the television and telecommunications industries.

From 2000 to 2008, he served as Technical Director of a Cable Television Company, where he played an instrumental role in advancing the development of cable television services in Vietnam.

In 2008, Kien joined CMC Telecom during its early years of establishment. He currently serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of CMC Telecom, as well as Vice President of CMC Corporation. Throughout his tenure, he has made significant contributions to CMC Telecom’s growth and development into one of Vietnam’s leading digital infrastructure and telecommunications service providers.

Kien also serves as Head of the Data Infrastructure Committee under Vietnam’s National Data Association (NDA).

Kwang Yong Lee

With over 20 years of experience in the info-communications sector, Kwang Yong has extensive experience in driving the development and launch of new products and solutions in the enterprise market. He is responsible for enterprise products innovation and management of Singtel’s global voice and data networks, ICT, Cyber, Cloud, and enterprise mobile & IoT portfolio of services, including incubation of new emerging businesses such as software and data analytics services. In addition, he also oversees the commercial pre-sales function for ICT, Cyber, and Cloud businesses. Kwang Yong is a believer in co-creating customer-centric solutions with customers and partners ecosystem. 

Lawrence Lim

Senior Vice President of Technology,
PCCW Global

Lawrence Lim currently serves as Senior Vice President of Technology at PCCW Global, bringing over two decades of executive leadership in emerging technologies, cloud architecture and global network infrastructure.

In his role, Lawrence leads the global technology team, driving organisational and technical growth, and overseeing the research and development of PCCW Global’s automated networks and services.

As a certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practice consultant, Lawrence has helped drive operational discipline at PCCW Global through the adoption of SAFe, while also introducing FinOps practices to maximise cloud efficiency and deliver high-impact, customer-facing technologies.

Lawrence joined Console Connect in 2015, building the engineering team and product architecture for the multi-award-winning Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform – ahead of its successful acquisition by PCCW Global in 2017.

Prior to his roles at PCCW Global and Console Connect, Lawrence held executive roles at Red Hat and NEXTDC. He spent over a decade at Red Hat shaping foundational virtualisation and cloud platforms, and was part of the original team that created OpenShift, which has since evolved into Red Hat’s flagship enterprise Kubernetes platform.

Following Red Hat, Lawrence pivoted to data centre infrastructure as Head of IT Operations and Product Development at NEXTDC, managing core IT and network services across the company’s nationwide network of Tier III certified data centres in Australia.

A prolific inventor and builder, Lawrence holds three patents covering internationalisation, cross-connect inventory management in data centres and financial reconciliation using blockchain technology.

Kwee Heng Poh

Head of Transformation & Product,
StarHub

Kwee Heng spearheads StarHub’s network transformation program to architect and build a cloud-native digital network that is both agile and programmable. Coupled with the extensive use of AI, the intelligent and predictive platform will foster innovation, simplify network operations, and improve customer experience.  

In his previous role, Kwee Heng heads the Mobile Network practice and is responsible for the design, build, and operation of the 5G SA & NSA, and LTE mobile networks. Under his leadership, StarHub won numerous accolades as the leading mobile network operator both in Singapore and Internationally. He brings with him more than 20 years of leadership experience across both technical and business roles in building nationwide infrastructure across a broad range of technologies, including mobile and optical, and security networks.  

Kwee Heng holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honors from the National University of Singapore. 

Azmal Yahya

Chief of Product,
Telin

Azmal Yahya is a senior business leader with over 25 years of experience driving growth, turnarounds, and profitability across the telecommunications industry in Southeast Asia and beyond. He currently serves as Chief of Product at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), where he shapes product strategy, wholesale and digital enterprise portfolios, and new market opportunities, including submarine cable systems. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Telin Malaysia. Over his career, he has led sales and product teams across multiple continents, secured major deals with global carriers and hyperscalers, and consistently delivered significant revenue and profit growth.
