Aamir was appointed as Chief Technology and Product Officer and Senior Vice President of Liberty Latin America in April 2022.

He is responsible for Liberty Latin America’s Technology & Innovation (T&I) team, driving technology solutions including product development and network performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across the company’s multiple markets.

Prior to joining Liberty Latin America, Aamir held multiple senior roles at Verizon Communications, CenturyLink, and Liberty Global. Aamir is a recognized senior digital technology executive with more than 28 years of experience in the implementation of global technology operations, innovation, complex infrastructures, consumer & business solutions, digital transformation, and capital cost efficiencies.

Daniele Mancuso

Chief Marketing & Product Management,
Sparkle

Daniele Mancuso has been appointed Chief Marketing & Product Management at Sparkle in February 2024, in charge of developing the Group’s holistic Products Portfolio, its market positioning (geographies, pricing, differentiating elements, marginality constraints) and its alignment against Sparkle’s vision & strategy. The responsibility includes the lifecycle management of Sparkle’s International Points of Presence and Submarine Cables.

In the previous years, he served as Chief Product Management, Chief Marketing Solutions & Business Development, EVP ICT Engineering and Director Innovation & Engineering.

Daniele brings three decades of broad commercial and technical experience in building and marketing telecom networks and associated products, both for wholesale and enterprise markets, spanning from Submarine Cables and related infrastructures to L1 Capacity and L3 IP Transit services, from Carrier Ethernet to SD-WAN, SASE & Multicloud, from International Wholesale Voice to Enterprise cloud-based Geo-Numbering, Unified Communications, and, most recent addition in Sparkle Portfolio, Global IoT connectivity services.

During his years of technological leadership, he triggered the transformation of Sparkle towards an API-centric Global Service Platform, introducing the pillars of a software-defined, virtualized, and programmable network, while ensuring the full commitment of the Company to contribute and follow open standards & certification programs, of which he’s a total believer and supporter.

More recently he initiated the exploration of new technological enablers—such as Distributed Ledger Technology—as source of new revenue streams, bringing Sparkle to join as founding member of the Integrated Trust Network and as sponsor of the MEF LSO Blockchain concept.

In May 2023, keeping his Group Responsibilities, Daniele has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of TI Sparkle Greece, the major Op.Co. in Sparkle Group in terms of technological assets and number of employees.

He is frequently invited as speaker at industry events to share his vision, experience, and execution challenges.

Daniele holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Catania.

Juan Carlos Naranjo

Juan Carlos Naranjo is an Electronic Engineer, who graduated from Universidad del Valle in Colombia. He also has a Business Administration Specialized Degree from Instituto ICESI University. Mr. Naranjo joined UFINET in 2002 and he has served as a Chief technical officer for Latin America since 2014. He previously worked as a maintenance manager of Colombia as well as an Engineering manager of Colombia. He is the main person responsible for UFINET’s Network development and quality achievements in Latin America, having to orchestrate an experienced, multicultural, and interdisciplinary technical team. Recently, in 2024, he was appointed Chief Operations Officer, assuming responsibility for the commercial area.

Eric Seaman

Eric Seaman is an Electrical Engineer and holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Technological Institute of Monterrey, Mexico.

In his 30+ years of experience in the telecom business, Eric has held C-level executive positions in which he has developed and operated networks across LATAM. His responsibilities have covered strategic planning, engineering, design, deployment, service assurance and operations of networks supporting mission-critical IP transit, content delivery, transport, and B2B among others. He started his career with Harris Corporation as technical leader of a United States of America Department of Defense (DoD) military project in Central America. In the last years, as regional CTO of the One Network, He led the design and deployment of Millicom/TIGO’s international infrastructure right from its early stages.

Eric is also a seasoned leader in technical operations, presales, solutions design, business automation and customer support for the International Wholesale and Multi-National enterprise lines of business.

Jeremy Villalobos

Orchest Technologies

Jeremy Villalobos is the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Orchest Technologies. He serves as the Chairman of the Latam Executive Council in MEF Forum. He was recently recognized for the third year in a row (2022, 2023, 2024) in the Top 100 most influential people in the Wholesale and ICT community by Capacity Media. In 2022, he served as Co-Chair for the LSO Committee at MEF Forum developing LSO API standards.

He led the creation of the revolutionary Orchest platform and the network feasibility analysis algorithm. He has served in several key capacities and advisory boards for various technology and Carrier organizations. He was a member of the Board of Advisors of Stetson University in Florida from 2020 to 2023.
